Our goal is to replace the unsafe plastic synthetic textiles used in all garments and homewares. As a social enterprise start-up we are very excited to have developed a revolutionary new bio-material innovation that addresses the enormous problem of plastic microfibres and plastics found in our water, food, animals, people and environment.
CircStretch combines the world’s first Cradle to Cradle® bio polymer stretch blended with natural fibres TENCEL™ Modal, EcoVero™ viscose and GOTS organic cotton.
It solves the problem of toxic synthetics in garments that require stretch. Premium standard textiles developed to extend the life of quality made garments.
CircStretch is 100% home compostable and non-toxic as it breaks down in microbiologically active soil.
By adding a Smart Thread clients can loop in the Circular Textile Waste Service along with internal systems such as transport, data, warehousing, marketing, customer engagement and more.
CircStretch safely composts in around 300 days in comparison to every other product in the market that takes a minimum of 5 years and maximum of decades for the plastic to decompose.

Industry leaders can support the environment and offer our Circular Take-Back Service or send your Deadstock through our Service to be certified as Zero Textile Waste.
All of our products are kept in Australia to mitigate emissions and pollution, and provide job opportunities, especially for our disability enterprise partners and foster circular economy innovation in Australia.
We first encourage wearers to donate, upcycle, recycle, repair or pass-on so that we only collect unwearable clothing and homeware textiles plus denim - the good, bad and ugly for the Circular Denim Project.
Available at present in Sydney the Take-Back service ensures your business is Zero Textile Waste Certified. The service can be paid for by the wearer/customer on a per kilo basis. The role of the community or business is to weigh and collect the fees and book a pick-up once you have reached a minimum of 120kg.
Our disability enterprise partners will collect, sort, dismantle & re-bale the textile waste ready to divert through our circular streams to grow the Australian circular economy industry.
With STSC, fashion and apparel producers can order or develop new compostable bio stretch fabrics that we can take-back and put through an Accelerated Composting System currently in development.
STSC have replaced the plastic synthetic stretch with the world’s first Cradle to Cradle® (C2C) Gold Level Certified™ premium stretch yarn.
We blend with TENCEL™ Modal™, EcoVero™ and GOTS Organic Cotton in varying weights and styles from single jersey knit to rib patterns. Fabrics can be used for uniforms, activewear, underwear, fashion and apparel.
Using a Smart Thread that is embedded into the garment, our clients can loop in our Circular Textile Waste Service plus link to internal systems for transport, data, warehousing, customer engagement and more.
Engage your customers so that when its no longer wearable, teach them to compost correctly plus participate in our accelerated composting system to minimise emissions further.
STSC wholesale 500+ sustainable textiles and can ship direct to you or your factory anywhere in the world.
Our Take-back service Set-Up and Admin fee is paid for by you - our clients after collecting from the wearer/customer. You collect the waste and charge the wearer per kilo (purchase scales or use our estimated bag system).
Once you reach a 120kg minimum our Disability Enterprise teams will collect. Charges are to cover transport, sorting and disassembling services offered by our disability enterprise partners plus repurposing.
This Mixed service will utilise a wide variety of circular waste streams. We currently offer circular streams with new innovations to be added.
Textiles collected are denim, unwearable clothing and textile homewares are no longer useful - including the difficult mixed synthetic blends, socks, undies and bras.

The Circular Centre is proud to work with Mosman Council as the first council in Australia to divert their resident's textile waste away from both landfill and prevent from being shipped offshore.
Mosman residents can download the RecycleSmart App and book a curbside collection of a wide variety of waste items including their "good" clothing that is donated to Vinnies and "unwearable" clothing and homewares including difficult items like bras, underwear, socks and old linen that are normally put in a rubbish bin.
View our "How-to" video created by Contrast Media and see steps below to learn more about our textile waste offered to councils and community groups.
Clients can also work with Contrast Media to create a promo video of your company or council transitioning to zero waste using circular economy principles & ticking off many UN SDGs.
