The Circular Centre is a social enterprise and the world's first fully circular design system for textiles; we replace, reuse, redesign, repurpose and resell through four main circular textile systems to design out waste and pollution.
Think of a circular jigsaw where resources come in and out of our circular system to ensure they stay out of landfill plus the resources remain at their highest value for longer.
At the beginning, we wholesale sustainable textiles to replace all synthetics with safe compostable fabrics. We also take all "unwearable" and "unusable" textiles and valorise the resources to safely reuse, redesign + repurpose 100% of the diverted resources.
Our aim is to mitigate emissions + pollution, combine human centred design & smart tech to offer jobs and training, especially for Australian disability enterprises plus resell circular products through the CIRCULAR MARKET.
Our circular systems offer textile diversion solutions based on both garment/product type and fibre type. Our various circular streams and CIRCULAR MARKET offers all clients an opportunity to both divert and purchase circular products.
Our transparent circular streams below offer government, companies and communities the opportunity to promote their SDG leadership and receive our Zero Textile Waste Certification.
We REPLACE the unsafe plastic synthetic textiles used in all garments and homewares. At STSC. Sustainable Textile Supply Chain we wholesale textiles and ship direct from our Mills worldwide.
Our latest breakthrough is CircStretch - sustainable stretch fabric for swimwear, activewear, lingerie and apparel using the world's first Cradle to Cradle® Gold Certified and 100% home compostable stretch yarn blended with natural fibres, it's non-toxic and breaks down in just 300 days.
Other textiles include bio-rubber neoprene for wet suits & swimwear and natural rubber garment elastic with organic cotton.
The CIRCULAR TEXTILE WASTE SERVICE captures every type of textile waste including the difficult mixed blend fabrics, bra's, undies and socks so we no longer need to put any textile waste into a skip or garbage bin.
Our partners are some of Australia's key circular design and carbon sequestering innovators and we foster circular industry opportunities including jobs and fun training for our Australian disability enterprise partners.
Our zero-waste solutions for uniforms, workwear and commercial waste are offered to councils, companies plus all fashion and apparel businesses. See the Mosman Council system and Virgin Airlines uniforms & workwear service Case Study
Are you an eco-warrior business or community group wanting to collect? Through our Take-Back systems we can accept a minimum quantity of 120kg of unwearable clothing, homewares, bed linen etc.
CIRCULAR DENIM is a major circular stream of the CTWS. We collect all types of denim; the good, the bad and downright ugly to create opportunities to re-use and repurpose this high quality textile and only repurpose the remnants.
GENERAL PANTS CO. + CIRCULAR DENIM COLLABORATION

Repurposed textile waste products include carpet tiles, underlay, sound proofing, wool filters, etc. Through circular partners we divert + sell products like furniture filler, buttons, zippers, elastic plus redesigned workwear and fashion.
Remnant textiles include pre-consumer sustainable textiles + pre and post-consumer textiles and deadstock.
Where possible, we attach a QR code to encourage customers to use take-back systems when it finally becomes unwearable or unusable. We trace its origins and return it to the circular streams or accelerate its decomposition to mitigate further emissions.
COUNCILS can offer residents a household collection or drop-off solution. We take ALL "unwearable" clothing including bras, socks, under garments and underwear, plus usable textile homewares and ALL denim for the CIRCULAR DENIM PROJECT. 100% of material waste is reused or repurposed in Australia.
We take all unwearable corporate clothing, uniforms and workwear to use for redesign and/or repurposed into high quality products. 100% waste is used locally.
Where required we offer Destruction Certificates to maintain IP and security.
